Suja Viswesan heads the Big Data Applications and Platforms org at LinkedIn that includes targeting, experimentation, reporting, Metadata management, etc. She is the Women In Technology Lead for LinkedIn Data Org. She is passionate about Education, Women in Tech and is very active in the WIT community. She mentors high school students to mid career professionals. In her spare time, she leads the West Coast Networking chapter of Women In Big Data and also is a board member of Pratham USA, an educational charity institution. Professor Pei Xiao

Topic:Integrated 5G Terrestrial and Satellite Networks

Pei Xiao (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently a Professor of wireless communications with the Institute for Communication Systems (ICS), Home of 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC), University of Surrey. He is the Technical Manager of 5GIC, leading the research team in the new physical layer work area, and coordinating/supervising research activities across all the work areas within 5GIC. Prior to this, he was with Newcastle University and Queen's University Belfast. He also held positions at Nokia Networks, Finland. He has published extensively in the fields of communication theory, RF and antenna design, and signal processing for wireless communications. He is an inventor of over 10 recent 5GIC patents and addressing bottleneck problems in 5G systems


Dr.Tawfik Al-Hadhrami

TOPIC:The IoT and 5G Technology

Dr Al-Hadhrami received his BSc in Control Systems and Computer Engineering from University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, MSc in Information Technology Applied Systems from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, PhD in Wireless Communication and Protocols from University of the West of Scotland, Glasgow, UK. He is a member of the Internet of Things and Applications (IOTA), Network Infrastructures & Emerging Technologies (NIET), Computational Intelligence and Applications Research Group (CIA). He has previously worked with different projects in industry and academia. During his doctoral studies he worked on the Wireless Communication for Emergency Situations and Incident Areas Networks (IAN) at University of the West of Scotland.
